Talked with several CTO / Head of Engineering type folks at seemingly high-flying AI companies (in the press, doing well) who quit for a few reasons: 1. Relentless, 7 days/week, 70+ hours work 2. Had high equity, but valuation also v high, and investors have a LOT of preference
