Data center economics don't favor San Francisco locations

Not opposed to it, but I don’t understand how a data center makes sense in SF I’d think you’d want relatively cheap land and power… proximity matters for inference but shaving a couple milliseconds by having it in SF vs 50 miles away doesn’t seem worth it. Am I wrong?
